Each season, the Oakland Midnight Basketball League hosts two resource fairs to connect players and spectators to helpful services and opportunities in the Oakland community. One resource fair is focused on employment, and participating organizations are expected to offer connections to full- or part-time employment or programs pertaining to job-training, apprenticeship, or career and technical education. The second resource fair is available to all local providers, and available resources typically fall into the following categories: health, mental health, or behavioral health; victims services; youth development; neighborhood services; legal services (record expungement, child support assistance, etc.), and public assistance programs.
